(New!) Blanchard Book Fair (May 1-7) - Call for volunteers!
The Blanchard Book Fair is here (May 1-7, 2013). This is a great opportunity for your child to purchase a high-quality book or two for the summer! Students will visit the book fair to browse and purchase books during ELA classes in school (May 2 - 8th graders, May 3 - 7th graders, May 6 - 6th graders). In addition, families are invited to visit the book fair, evenings from 6-8 pm on May 2nd & May 6th during spring concerts. Proceeds from this important in-house fundraiser allows the school to purchase additional books and materials for all teachers & students to enjoy!
There is also an urgent need for volunteers to help at the fair -- please click on the VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE to sign-up or email Ellen Brandt, Blanchard MS Library Media Specialist, at ebrandt@westfordk12.us with your availability. Thank you for supporting the Blanchard middle school library, students and staff!

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please send cash or a check payable to WMSPTO in envelope marked 'Teacher Appreciation Luncheon' to your school with your child. ShoeBox Recycling Fundraiser
All types of gently-used, wearable pairs of men's, women's and kid's shoes can be dropped off in your school lobby anytime throughout the year. Shoes that are NOT accepted are : ski boots, heavy winter boots, roller skates/blades or ice skates.
Volunteers still needed to help with this sustainable fundraiser at both schools, contact Heidi Tierney / intothewoods3@comcast.net.

Target "Take Charge of Education" Fundraiser
By using your Target REDcard® or Target® Visa® Credit Card and designating either Blanchard or Stony Brook, Target will donate 1% of all your purchases to your school of choice - only one school may be designated for each Target Credit Card account. Please share this opportunity with family and friends of Westford middle schools who may already have these credit cards or are interested in applying for one.
Sign up for the 'Take Charge of Education' program by visiting target.com/tcoe or an in-store kiosk or by calling 1.800.316.6142. Then designate your school : Stony Brook Target ID #117837 / Blanchard Target ID #60285.
Invest in Your Child
Want to support the group in a different way? You can always make a tax deductible donation to the Invest In Your Child fundraiser. 100% of your donation goes to the WMSPTO. The suggested amount is $60, but the WMSPTO is grateful for donations of any amount. Click here to download the form.
